High Peak Kids Council is a group of schools that have come together to help make the High Peak a better place. We’ve raised funds for vulnerable groups; encouraged the area to become more eco-friendly; had visits from the local MP and other guests; tried to tackle issues like dog mess and litter and arranged fun events for the schools to attend.
We are councillors committed to helping improve outcomes for our community and meet formally every half-term at New Mills Town Hall, or virtually at the moment! We have visited the Houses of Parliament as well, to help us understand even better how democracy and action work together.
